The MREIF (Ministry of Finance Incorporated Real Estate Investment Fund) is a government-backed scheme offering mortgages at 9.75% p.a. fixed with up to 90% LTV through Stanbic IBTC. Minimum property value is ₦12.5M.
FMBN NHF mortgages require only 10% deposit. The MREIF scheme also requires a minimum 10% equity contribution. Standard commercial bank mortgages typically require 20%–30%.
